The first post

There's a first time for everything. So also for this blog which has just now come into existence. It is by no means my first blog. I've been posting pictures and musings on Phlog.net since December 2003, but this is the first blog I try to include on my own personal website.

So, it's a bit past midnight, and I just finished celebrating my youngest daughter's seventh birthday. She enjoyed it lots, and so did we. Goodness, I'm getting older too. So perhaps this blog is like grasping hopelessly for my lost youth, like turning forty and getting a motorbike? I would enjoy a motorbike, but I'm not forty yet, and as it happens I don't have a driving license for one. I drive a sensible car, which in itself is fortyish enough. Bad sign? Am I ageing beyond my years?

And the days are getting cold but that's alright with me»

Ok, so I'm kind of rambling here, but then again this post is mostly just to get a feel for this thing, the blog. And to get it started. I'm usually quite slow at that, getting things started. Anyway ...

More or less supposed to be an outlet for thoughts and ideas, when or if they against the advice of saner thoughts and ideas come leaping at me from out of thin air, or a bowl of noodles. There are usually more noodles that thoughts, I'll be the first to admit that. But then again, perhaps I'll write another post tomorrow. Goodnight for now.
